Introductions: There were no guests or new members present to introduce.

Joanie Kline provided information about the next two upcoming Rambler events at Cedar City and Beaver, Utah.

Joanie noted that reservations need to be made immediately for the Cedar Breaks RV Park (June 19 – 22), as the RV park availability is filling up now. The June event is hosted by Bob & Elverna Botts.

Reservations, also, need to be made forthwith at the KOA RV Park in Beaver, Utah (July 17 – 20) Reservation number is 435 438-2924. This event is hosted by Joanie & Wayne Kline.

Vern Ratzlaff reported on possible RV park locations for future Rambler events:

A new RV park is being developed in Orderville, Utah. It will have 90 large pull thru spaces with 50 AMP, 30 AMP, and 110 AMP electrical hook-ups…but, this new park will not be ready until some time in 2020 (will keep the Club posted on it’s opening date).

There is, also, a new RV park being developed two miles east of Kanab on Hwy 89 toward Page. This Park is owned by experienced RV operators and should be ready by October 1st, 2019…a possibility for the Ramblers October event.

Vern will also follow-up on reviewing the RV locations in Page, AZ for fall or spring Rambler events…will make report at next Club meeting.

Minutes of the April meeting were approved as written and posted on the Club web site.

Treasurers Report: Vern Ratzlaff reported the Club has $1272.88 in the Club’s bank account with one pending invoice in the amount of $18.12 for copies.

New Business:

Joanie Kline made a motion to change the meeting days for monthly Club events to start on Tuesday and run through Friday morning (in essence moving our 3-day event up one day in the week). Motion seconded by Dottie Ratzlaff. Motion passed.

(It is anticipated the first Club meeting/event to start on Tuesday, by this Motion, will be in August at Lutherwood RV Park, as the next two Club events have already been scheduled.)

Joanie Kline made a motion the breakfast meeting held on the day of departure to be eliminated. After discussion, Dorothy Ratzlaff made a motion to amend the original motion to state instead of “eliminated” that the Motion be changed to read: “The breakfast meeting held on the day of departure shall be optional at the discretion of the Meeting Host”. Dee Jones seconded the Amendment and the Motion was passed as amended.

President Linda distributed, to the Members, a copy of the “Standing Rules” for the Club. There was one typo that was noted and corrected. That typo was under the “Finances” section, which stated the “Annual dues will be $35 per person”. The correct number was changed to read “Annual dues will be $25 per person”.

Vern Ratzlaff provided the following information as to an RV repair firm for which he had recently had very good service provided for his RV. Following is the repair firm’s contact info:

Mobile Me RV – Mitch White, proprietor 801 698-6856. Vern believes he lives in Toquerville, but as indicated by his name, he will come to you for service work.

Vern & Dottie reported they had stayed at the Palms RV Park in Washington, Utah and it was an excellent experience (quiet, very clean, lawns, club house with indoor heated pool 435 628-2371).

Adjournment: There being no other business brought before the Club, President Larsen closed the meeting.
